Traveling Notary
and ENotary

Being a traveling notary involves providing notary services at an agreed location, offering flexibility to fit your document notarization needs. The notary's role is to verify signers' identities, ensure document understanding, and witness signings.

I am trained and listed as an ENotary in North Carolina. Under this service, all parties still appear in person to notarize with the signer(s), but all signatures are completed electronically on E-Docs.

Coming soon, those trained as ENotaries will be able to perform video signing services. North Carolina is in process of completing the rulemaking stages under the NC Remote Electronic Act (RENA). When they finalize this process, video appearances and signings will be available within their guidelines. During this interim, The Emergency Video Notarization (EVN) has been extended to July 1, 2025 at 12:01 AM and has specific conditions. For more information on who this applies to, visit our North Carolina Secretary of State website.
